从美国工程信息公司（engineering information inc.）获悉，由数学与计算科学学院周勇教授主编、英国inderscience publishers出版的国际学术期刊int. j. dynamical systems and differential equations (issn: 1752 3583) 和 int. j. computing science and mathematics (issn: 1752 5055) 被engineering index（工程索引光盘版）和 ei compendex数据库收录。
至此，上述两种刊物已经进入多个国际著名数据库，包括美国ei compendex，德国zentralblatt math，美国math reviews，荷兰scopus，elsevier的scirus，美国acm guide to computing literature，美国computer database等，其中ei是三大检索系统（ sci、ei、istp）之一，是工程技术领域(应用学科)重要的综合型检索工具。
